Life in this Pandemic

We’ve finally decided to go back home to the province in the middle of this pandemic. It’s a decision I never thought I’d say yes to, but when the kids are involved, it’s a different story. Before, I tried hard to romanticize living back home, and because I was scared of what lies ahead with no work, I chose to stay here in the city, because I am working and I enjoy what I do.

And then the covid pandemic hit us. The kids haven’t been outside our apartment for seven months. So hubs and I decided we’d have to move back home, where we can be with family, where the kids can freely walk and bask on the country’s fresh mountain air, where they can connect with nature, carefree.

I’m nervous but excited to start again. Life maybe uncertain, but I would like to focus on the now.

Hope to be home soon.
