I didn’t have a big birthday celebration. Just a simple dinner and a cake, the way I like it. The cake was actually a gift haha. Since we are going up north for the New Year, it’s prudent to keep expenses to a minimum, spending only on what’s necessary.
We will be taking the kids to meet their grandparents and reunite with my siblings. Every Christmas, we are always together, but this year our work schedules will not permit. Besides, I don’t want them to spend for their transportation coming here and then going back. As much as I would like the whole big family to be together, I only like to think it’s only a week away to wait.
