As I’m writing this, I’m a month away from D-day. Can’t believe time flies so fast!
My appetite is no longer a problem. A lady who works next door approached me a couple of weeks ago and said, “I didn’t know you were pregnant?!” Yes, that’s how my pregnancy is described physically during the first and 2nd trimester. I guess because the first few months was unpleasant for me, and that time I lost weight. But I’m happy that the ultrasound scans were normal, that’s what is important. Last Saturday, we were surprised to see that baby boy is 2 weeks early in terms of maturity, so I have to revise my maternity leave two weeks ahead. Our tentative schedule for CS is mid April.
I can’t believe we’re having our second baby already. I am sure baby boy will love and care for his sister Maia.
Maia on the other hand has tantrums especially when it’s eating time. Does she know that she’s going to be a big sister? During my free time at home, I would let her hold my tummy. Baby boy moves a lot, and now with stronger kicks. Sometimes I have to toss and turn several times just to find a comfortable sleeping position.
It’s going to be a challenge, I’m sure, but if God carried us being with Maia, He will never forsake us. We’re praying for a smooth c-section next month, and for a normal and bouncing baby.
I’ll see you again.
Love,
Cel
My dauggter was upset when we found out we were having a boy. She was having problems adjusting being a big sister. She loves her baby brother to death, but she just can’t understand why all in a sudden she has to share everything.
