When you are a mommy, one of the great challenges is how to cook veggies in different ways. Thanks to my dear friend Kit for giving me an idea. 🙂
For this recipe, all you need is :
Squash, Sticky Rice, Ground beef, Broccoli, clove of garlic.
First soak the sticky rice for about 30mins. After soaking blend until fine.
Cut the squash into cubes, boil and then mash.
Put the blended sticky rice to a pan and bring it to a boil. Add the mashed squash.
Fry up the ground beef with garlic. Throw in the broccoli. Add salt and mix them all. Easy peasy!
Go on, serve this to your little ones. Yumyum!
You can always make your own recipe.
See you next post,
Mommy Cel
Thanks for this recipe! I used to make squash carrot purees for my now 10-month-old son but stopped when he no longer needed everything pureed. But I never really thought of mixing it with rice or garlic! I love garlic! That must taste so good 😀

I love squash especially when hubby cooks it with string beans. I never tried it for the kids when they were babies. They do eat it now though. 🙂

Wow, I hope my eldest daughter will try this one. I’m having a hard time feeding her since she tends to be picky on her food. Thanks for sharing this Mommy! 🙂

I haven’t used pumpkin or squash a lot when I cook at home. I guess it’s because it’s so hard to peel or I am just too lazy. Thank you for reminding me this wonderful vegetable. I actually need lots of these for my eyes.
