Review: Celeteque Dermoscience Matte Moisturizer with SPF 30

I was quite happy with the advent of Celeteque Dermoscience +  which offers a skin care line for hydration, sun protection, brightening, acne solutions, anti-aging and restorative.

Passing by Watsons early this year, I got to see their new items. I was drawn to the matte moisturizer with SPF 30 right away, hoping that this product will mattify my oily face. The SA said it is also good as a make up base.  For the 50ml it sells for P230.

Packaging is okay.

The consistency looks like a glue, and application on the face is a bit hard. You have to like ‘massage’ it so that it gets absorbed well.

This is how it looks after I spread it.  I was hoping for a ‘more’ matte finish, but it felt a little sticky on my face. When I put on  foundation, my big pores became more visible, like I can see the pores filled with white powder. I also waited for hours to see if it will help my oiliness, but still, oil is persistent.  I think this is good for a day on the beach where you just have to apply it without make up.  Actually, the finish is more of a matte dewy look. I love it because of the SPF 30.

I guess I have to try their Oil Control Toner which is under their Acne Solutions line. My search for a product to control my oil is still a work in progress. 😀

  1. I know what you mean about the consistency being like glue. I haven’t tried it yet but it looks like it. Maybe you can mix a bit of liquid foundation to it to turn it into a tinted moisturizer and make it more blendable 🙂 Hahah Just a thought. 🙂
