In the homepage of website for Cirque du Soleil’s Varekai it says:
A captivating
forest inhabited
by whimsical and
enchanted creatures
Varekai means “wherever” in the Romani language.
Hubby and I saw this advertisement in the tv the past weeks, but I can’t remember which channel. He suggested I check the internet for more info on ticket prices. I did check but it was a bit expensive, even for the farthest seat. Sigh. It must be a wonderful performance show. The show is created by artists from different places and diverse backgrounds. I love that it is staged in a forest. Something about forests are magical and mystical to me. Imagine witnessing acts like aerial hoops, Georgain dances, juggling, handbalancing on canes, Russian swings, and a lot more acrobatic artistry..whooh! I enjoy acrobatic shows!
It opens here in Manila on June 22, 2011 at the Grand Chapiteau, Quirino Grandstand. It is presented by Manila Hotel and BDO and sponsored by Sun Life Financial.
Two tickets, come to me!
Haha.
