On weeks that the weeds grow back in the church grounds, the acolytes have to mow them.
This is Dave, one of the acolytes. In our church we have two acolytes every two years. They are also our scholars, financed by the church for their schooling, and they help assist the sexton (caretaker) in his work.
One is mowing. He is a small guy, with a loud voice. A loud singing voice. There are times I overheard him singing, with his baritone voice dominating the entire kitchen room.
And these are the trimmings.
It’s like life, when you feel your system is low and the weeds have grown, it’s time to check and go back to clean it. Pamper yourself!
Stay light and be happy!
fabulous series, no matter what, the lawn always seems to grow!
