A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I had a blast yesterday with the CHT Youth group. I was egged on by Skeeter, the youth president to join the group to watch the play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.

We had to travel to Marilao, Bulacan to the Aliw Cinema Theater. We arrived there early, and we decided to have lunch. We were hungry.

Then later, the Parminters arrived, James, Malou and Darren. Shane was up already.

I love this kid, Darren.

2 hours later…

We headed to the 4th floor. It’s kind of a queue frenzy but we managed to enter well.  It’s good we were seated at the front, 2nd row. There were a lot of kids, like children going to a kiddie party. Star struck kids. haha.

Ok, the show has started.

Shane Parminter, a member of the youth, and the reason we went there (ha ha),  plays Demetrius.

This is the stage set up.

The opening dance.

There’s Demetrius, and Hermia. I heard screams and shrills from the young audience when Shane entered the scene.

Helena and Demetrius.

After I took this shot my camera gave up. My battery went empty. Oh my. Sorry.

But it was ok. The story was modified to suit the audience.

They play went for 2 hours, with no break.

Then we went home.
