A solemn service

Today is the funeral service of Mr. Murray who passed away as I have mentioned in my earlier post. His body was cremated last Monday.

I can almost hear the bagpiper playing as the processional started. It is a solemn service, attended by family members, friends, and even the US ambassador to the Philippines Harry Thomas is here. The church has maximized its full seating capacity.

I saw new faces, mostly of the age group of Mr. Murray’s. Although I want to attend the service, it’s still office hours, so I have to sit here in the office, do my work, and wait until the service is over.

Hope you have a nice weekend everyone!
