I received the invitation. I was not expecting it, but I’m glad the dust has finally settled.

Things have changed, I have already overcome the past. It’s not healthy to drool on negative things.  That’s what being a Christian is, and reflecting true love to everybody, even your enemy. If I hardened my heart until now, it wouldn’t be comfortable staying here. She is the wife of a newly assigned brigadier general, and she’s still the incumbent women’s organization president. Hah!

I don’t feel any form of hostility toward her, I guess I have conquered anger that raged in my heart before. And it is good, to feel  like nothing happened, like we never fought.

It is said that life is lived forward but is understood backward.
